Right now the rides aren’t open at Legoland California . However, Legoland hotel is open and you can celebrate the Holidays at Legoland. Even though guests can’t ride the rides, it’s nice that they can still enjoy the holidays at Legoland. Here are all the details that you need to know if you want to experience Legoland this Christmas.

Dates and Times

Holidays at Legoland California runs from November 20, 2020 – January 10, 2021. It’s nice that it will be running a few weeks after Christmas just in case you can’t get there before. It’s open from 12 pm -5 pm from November 20 – December 25. After Christmas the hours change to 11 am to 6 pm. Also, some weekdays in December are closed, December 1-3, 7-10, and 14-17.

Tickets

Tickets cost $14.99 for a single day pass. Kids 2 and under don’t need a ticket. However, elite, silver, gold, platinum, and ambassador annual pass holders pay $9.99. The tickets have to be used for the date and time you specified when it was purchased.

Santa’s Surprise Gift

They have something called Santa’s Surprise Gift. If you pay for it online it cost $5.99. However, when purchased at the gate, the price is $8.99. So, it will save you a lot to purchase it online. How it works? Go to Santa’s Workshop at Funtown Theater. One of Santa’s elves will give you the surprise gift. All you have to do is present your ticket. Each gift is valued at $8.99.When you go to purchase the holiday ticket online it will give you the option to pay for the gift.

Activities

Holidays at Legoland include, distanced character meet and greets, and Lego building challenges. There will also be live music and Christmas decorations. This includes a 30 foot Christmas Lego tree.The Big Shop will be open. In addition, various restaurants will be open.

If you have ever wanted to experience the Legoland hotel, now is the time to go. Since the rides aren’t open the cost to stay has been discounted. Depending on when you stay, it’s as low as $169 a night. If you just want to stay at the hotel and not go to the Holiday event, it will let you book the days when the holiday event is closed.
