Resorts to Reopen at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World has announced that more resorts will be reopening in 2021. The park reopened in July 2020. When that happened not all resorts were open for reservations. Since then Disney World has slowly opened more and more of it’s resorts. The parks are still operating at a limited capacity. Moreover, they haven’t been filling up the rooms that are available. Here are resorts to reopen at Walt Disney World in 2021.

Resorts to Reopen

The first resort to reopen in 2021 is Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Originally it was set to open up in February. The only value resorts that are currently open are, Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation. It will be great to have one more value resort to choose from. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will reopen on March 22, 2021.

The rest of the resorts to reopen are in the deluxe resort category. Disney’s Beach Club Resort will reopen on May 30, 2021 and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge reopens on June 6, 2021.

However, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort doesn’t have a specific date. But it says it will reopen in the summer of 2021. At the moment construction is ongoing at the Poly. For that reason, a specific date is yet to be determined. In addition, the rooms will be Moana themed when finished.

Walt Disney World has yet to announce any moderate resorts to reopen. At the moment only one moderate resort that has a 5th sleeper room is open, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Many guests are probably sad that Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter are still closed. Since it’s a fan favorite in the moderate tier.

  • Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
  • The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House

Also, remember to check back. There may be more resorts that reopen in 2021. Moreover, if availability continues to increase, Disney might open more resorts. In addition, Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is October 2021. Disney World will see a higher amount of guests for the 50th. Therefore, they might have to reopen more resorts.
